Kris Jenner has been sucked into the exploding backlash over the Kim Kardashian/Kris Humphries divorce saga. Mama Kardashian has been making the media rounds to promote her new book which is getting little attention due to the explosive news over her daughter filing divorce after just 72 days.
Jenner caused a major backlash over statements she made on Good Morning America after she said that she hoped her son-in-law Kris Humphries didn't want the engagement ring back that he gave to Kim. Yesterday on The Today Show Jenner said that the ring was not work the reported $2 million dollars that the media said it was and that it was probably worth less than half of that amount.
According to RadarOnline.com when discussing the issue of Humphries asking for the ring back she used the phrase "Indian givers" which triggered anger from the largest American Indian and Alaska Native organization in the country.
Jacqueline Johnson Pata, Executive Director of the National Congress of American Indians, told RadarOnline.com exclusively that Jenner's use of the phrase was “wrong and hurtful.”
According to RadaOnline.com Pata said “Once again American Indians and Alaska Natives have been misrepresented by a single misinformed statement. Native American people serve in our country’s military at disproportionate rates, are respected business leaders, citizens of the United States, members of Congress, professional athletes, musicians, teachers and active participants in civic life.”
Kris Jenner also appear on The View to promote her book, but instead was quizzed about the recent divorce filing of Kim Kardashian against Kris Humphries. Please follow us on Twitter at: https://Twitter.com/HairBoutique.
