Fresh fruit such as apricots and papaya along with honey, eggs and coconut oil can be easily combined into a fabulous DIY masks in order to give yourself an easy facelift at home.

The goal of a great DIY mask?

To restore skin to a vibrant youthful appearance while fighting off the known damaging effects of the environment (sun, wind, pollution).

Advantages Of A Facelift At Home

Many beauty experts believe fine lines and winkles on the face are due to surface dehydration and accumulated dead skin cells.

To soften lines and wrinkles as well as to give the appearance of a more youthful skin you need to do the following:

Facelift At Home

The facelift mask recipe featured in this blog was passed down to me by my grandmother and mother more than 30 years ago.  Although it's messy, it's easy to do at home on a long weekend.

I have a collection of several facelift masks I've tried over the years, but this is one of my all time favorites.

Benefits of this mask include a thorough cleansing of the skin, exfoliation of the surface to remove dead skin cells and infusion of hydration.

The final step of adding moisture holds the hydration in the skin.  Wrinkles and lines look softer.

Summary - Facelift At Home

Although it takes a lot more time than using a commercially acquired mask and moisturizers, the Facelift At Home can be educational and fun to create.

Experiment with different moisturizers in the list to determine which works best for you and your skin.

The facelift at home mask offers immediate results, although each person will have different experiences.

Generally speaking, the best benefits are received over an extended period of time when the mask is used on a weekly basis.
