She has since established her career with films such as Miss Congeniality and Crash, the second of which received critical acclaim. In 2007, she was ranked as the 14th richest female celebrity with an estimated fortune of $85 million.

In 2009, Bullock starred in the most financially successful films of her career, The Proposal and The Blind Side.

As a result of her spectacular performance in The Blind Side Bullock was awarded a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, and the Academy Award for Best Actress, for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side.

Constant Array Of Hair Style Changes

As an actress Sandra is required to constantly change her hair's length, color, texture and styles depending on the role she's playing.

In the award winning movie "The Blind Side" Sandra was required to go platinum blonde with blonde straight strands for an authentic characterization.

Although Sandra may have the option to wear wigs for her many acting roles, it's unlikely she will since she is an actress dedicated to her craft and providing audiences with an authentic experience.

Sandra's hair is constantly under scrutiny due to her enduring star status.

Ironically Sandra Bullock wins the most kudos from the hair police when she wears her hair long, straight and with a fringe.

Danger Of Damage To Natural Curls

All the hair color, length and texture changes take a toll on her natural curls.

Naturally curly hair as a rule can be very fragile and more easily damaged.

In some cases when naturally curly hair is constantly colored, or chemically altered it can become very damaged.

Over time, damaged ringlets can become frizzy and extremely dry. The curls can also lose their natural curl pattern. It may or may not be possible to restore the pattern over time.

Fringes are difficult for those with natural curls to wear since they can frizz up easily and Sandra has a history of both hits and misses with a wide array of bangs.
