Ben Cho's collection, which is a dichotomy between futuristic fantasy, mythological goddess and urban hipster. Their collaboration was revolutionary.
Mary-Kate Olsen and her boyfriend Nate Lowman checked out the show, as well as celebrity jewelry designer Waris Ahluwalia, The Misshapes' DJ Leigh Lezark and Rev Run's kids Angela and Vanessa Simmons.
Backstage Pelusi also met up with Santino Rice from Project Runway and Natasha Lyonne. Expect to see them both at Pelusi's Tela Salon in the Meatpacking District for a hair treatment.
About Philip Pelusi
Pelusi is known for his unique cutting style, Volumetric® and his forward-thinking approach to hair, recognizing that all hair fabrics are not the same. "Your hair is the only accessory you wear everyday," Pelusi says. His P2® line will be used to create each of the hairstyles seen on the runway.
The line brings together the best of nature with cutting edge science, using 100% certified organic plant (Phyto)-derived ingredients to scientifically formulate them into state-of-the-art hair products.
To help with the show Philip took his top five hairstylists: Jeffrey Rietz, Teri Hunt, Lisa Krszal, Sam Canavan and Christie Wilt with him.
About Benjamin Cho
Cho is known for his braided silk fringe and his mixture of unconventional elements, which create unique and flattering designs. He has translated this aesthetic reverence into a decidedly American arena: modern, unique and sexy. His collections have a pointedly post-modern air, while remaining organic.
