Just in time to help with all those fabulous salon treats, celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson opened the doors to his Washington-area salon, located at The Collection in Chevy Chase, Maryland (a suburb of DC). Ted is bringing his successful legacy from his famous New York Flatiron salon to the Nation's Capitol and not a minute too soon.
On opening day, the 24-chair, 4,000-square-foot salon was visited by actress Anne Hathaway as well as actress and R&B singer Tatyana Ali (pictured with Ted).
Best known for her role as Ashley Banks on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Ali lent her voice to Obama’s presidential campaign song, “Yes We Can.”
The opening of the fabulous new salon marks yet another achievement for Ted who is one of the most sought-after editorial, runway and celebrity hair stylists in the business. I have great admiration for Ted's huge body of hair work plus I love the fact he's from Texas like me.
If you haven't heard of Ted Gibson you may have been living in a cave somewhere or have no interest in hair because the amazing hair artist has had his work showcased in such esteemed publications as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Rolling Store and Allure.
If you don't read but happen to hang out backstage at runway shows for Chanel, Prada or Dolce & Gabbana you just might bump into Ted weaving some hair magic for the world famous designers.
Ted's list of celebrity clients include Angelina Jolie, Amanda Bynes, Demi Moore, Renée Zellweger, Joy Bryant, Anne Hathaway, Elettra Rossellini, Claire Danes, Petra Nemcova, Keira Knightley, Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba, Diane Sawyer, Sara Foster, Vanessa Carlton and Amerie, to name just a few. Please follow us on Twitter at: https://Twitter.com/HairBoutique.
