Beauty will originate in the recognition of our own uniqueness.
Since the Fall/Winter 2008/09 season, Trend Union has promoted the absolute power of creative product development and brand strategies in the beauty industry.
The Fall/Winter 2009-10 season will see this direction emphasized even further, announcing the rulership of anything special, rare, or even strange: the reign of eccentricity has come.
Eccentricity will mesmerize us into being ourselves no matter what, extracting our deepest taboos from the very depths of our intimacy, bringing our unexpected personalities, beauty rituals, bathroom closets and toiletry kits into the limelight.
Eccentricity will also push us to explore our craziest fantasies, to reinvent ourselves totally into the character of our choice, and choose products that reflect this completely new state of mind.

Entering 2010, we are finally turning the page of the twentieth century; our perception of beauty standards is about to change drastically: we will appreciate differently a beauty with a too large forehead or oversized hairdos, a too thin neck like a ballerina, manga lips or a cartoon nose.
Surprisingly, a new androgynous archetype will bring masculine active girls and beautiful groomed boys to the center of our attention.
Affirming our personality, we will embrace unexpected colors and incredible patterns as extraordinary tools of expression for our beauty looks, formulas, cosmetic packaging and store displays.
From nature's creations to digital beauties, from sexual to luxury personae, from historical to fantasy beings, Trend Union has identified twelve new archetypes of beauty looks and products for Fall/Winter 2009/2010:
HALLUCINATING HYBRIDS MATERIAL GIRLS
NATURAL FOLLIES
ARTISTIC INTUITIVES
HISTORICAL VESTIGE
ABSURD AVANTGARDISTS
