Nancy O'Dell Already Loses Six Pounds On Dancing

In case you haven't heard, Nancy O'Dell is trading in her Access Hollywood microphone, temporarily, for a pair of dancing slippers for the latest version of the reality TV hit, Dancing With The Stars (DWTS).

The lovely Nancy was chatting about her DWTS experiences on Access Hollywood and confessed she had "spent more time with her new DWTS partner than with her husband on Valentines Day."

She also said she was "incredibly stressed out practicing" and had "already lost six pounds from all the work."

As previously announced in the media, when Nancy makes her "Dancing With the Stars" debut on March 9, she will be dancing with professional Tony Dovolani.   Many DWTS watchers are already predicting Nancy will be a front runner, if not the winner, for the contest.

Her new dancing partner told Nancy on camera she "needed to eat" and tried to feed her what looked like a chocolate covered donut.

Unlike some former DWTS candidates who have to get in shape just to dance, Nancy stays in shape "by running."  She told the Access Hollywood audience she "loves to run and said she runs about four times a week."

Nancy confirmed her first dance on DWTS will be a "waltz."  She reported she and Tony "had been rehearsing the first dance for quite a few days already."

Tony is sincerely pleased to have Nancy as his new "Star."  When it was first announced they would be paired up he told her  "I'm so glad you're doing this and I'm really happy I got you."

The professional dancer told Nancy recently on Access Hollywood, after practicing for awhile, "I think you are a natural born dancer."  Nancy agreed to get into a Bod Pod to determine her pre-DWTS body fat and has agreed to track how her body changes as she progresses through the competition.

Nancy joins a long line of lovely ladies Tony has danced with over the course of the show, including Stacy Keibler, Sara Evans, Leeza Gibbons, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Susan Lucci.

"I'm panicked, petrified, nervous, scared and excited all rolled up together!" Nancy said when it was announced she would be on the hit reality dancing show.

She told the media "people love that show and so do I. However, after watching season after season, I never ever thought I'd be one of the competitors! But my baby girl loves to dance so now she can watch mama dancing. Hopefully that's what it will look like anyway."

Who will Nancy and Tony be competing against?  Steve-O said on Tuesday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" his partner is Lacey Schwimmer; Denise Richards will be paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy; and Olympian Shawn Johnson revealed in an interview with "The Billy Bush Show" she will be dancing with Mark Ballas.  Real-life couple Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks will also be a "Dancing" team.

Daily Hair Tip
Split ends are a separation of the hair shaft that exposes hair's fragile inner layers. The only real cure for split ends is to have them trimmed.
