Matt Damon Teased For Hair Plugs

Matt Damon Teased For Hair Plugs

Matt Damon was named People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2007.  But that was then.  Now he's a hard working actor of 39 with a wife and a family who has achieved a high level of respect in the movie industry.

The actor took some series teasing on Saturday night when he was honored with the 24th American Cinematheque Award in Beverly Hills.

Jimmy Kimmel, a pal of Damon's told the media "I don't know who they weren't able to get, but I'd go with Tom Selleck before I'd go with Matt Damon."

Sarah Silverman and Matt Damon created a 2008 viral video hit together.  At Saturday night's roast the funny lady said she gave the actor "his first really big break" with their crude video.

She also told the audience that she was going to have a hard time roasting him, but then proceeded to do a great job.

"The worst thing I could say is, you know, Matt Damon is like, maybe he's a perfectionist," she told the audience, which included Don Cheadle, former President Bill Clinton and Damon's Invictus director Clint Eastwood.

Silverman said about Damon "And his breath is like, Jesus! And his hair plugs are really obvious. Besides that, there's like nothing. So sorry, roast not possible!"

No roast of Matt Damon would be complete without digs from best friend Ben Affleck and Mrs. Affleck - Jennifer Garner.

Garner said "Ben is half of one of the greatest love stories ever told. Not with me."  The actress continued "The actual prototype for the great Hollywood Bromance . . . Here's proof that love is alive and well in Hollywood. At least for my darling husband and my husband's darling husband."

Affleck shot barbs as well.  He said "Matt always said to me, 'Ben, there are two things that are more important to me than anything else in this world.' Folks: fame, money. You did it, Matty! You got there!"

A good humored Damon took it all in his typical laid back stride.   "I can honestly say that there's a good chance that next year Ben will be here, presenting this award to someone else," he told the audience as he accepted his award. "There's a lot of buzz about Vanessa Hudgens."

Could the roast be any more humorous?  And for real?  Does Matt Damon really have hair plugs?
